PAF, Police advance in Challenge Football Cup - Business Recorder -indopakdefscan

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Police advanced to next round after registering victories against their respective rivals in the ongoing 28th PFF National Challenge Football Cup being played here at Tehmas Khan Football Stadium on Saturday. Colonel Syed Rasool, Member of the Executive Committee, Pakistan Football Federation, was the chief guest on this occasion and before the start of the match the players of PAF, Pakistan Police, National Bank and Asia Ghee Mills, Bahawalpur were introduced to him.

Organizing Secretary of the Challenge Cup Basit Kamal, Chief Match Commissioner Qazi Asif, Tournment Director Rauf Bari and Match Referee Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah (FIFA) were also present. In the first match, PAF outclassed NBP by 3-0 victory. Sohail Junior, Faisal Khan and Mansoor Khan scored for the winners. In the second match Pakistan Police recorded a comfortable 5-0 victory against Asia Ghee Mills. Jamil, Hanif, Yousaf and Nabi post goals for Pakistan Police.
